Sr. FP & A Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior FP& A Analyst to provide vital financial insights and support strategic decision-making within the food and food processing industry. Based in Santa Ana, California, this role focuses on enhancing reporting capabilities and developing data-driven solutions using advanced tools like Excel, Power BI, and FP& A software. Responsibilities: u2022 Drive financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across multiple business units. u2022 Create and maintain complex financial models using advanced Excel techniques, including Power Query and pivot tables. u2022 Design and manage Power BI dashboards to present key performance metrics and trends. u2022 Conduct in-depth analysis of sales, margins, and operational performance to identify risks and opportunities. u2022 Collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support strategic initiatives. u2022 Compile and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to senior leadership. u2022 Perform scenario modeling, variance analysis, and generate ad hoc reports as needed. u2022 Support data integration efforts with FP& A systems and tools to streamline reporting processes. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of FP& A experience, including at least 3 years in the food and consumer-packaged goods industry. u2022 Proficient in Power BI for data modeling and dashboard creation. u2022 Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and automation. u2022 Excellent communication and presentation abilities. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Familiarity with FP& A software such as Workday Adaptive Planning. u2022 Knowledge of manufacturing and consumer processes is preferred.
