Youu2019ll help qualify cutting-edge features across the latest iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and macOS product linesu2014bringing innovation to life in the hands of this role, youu2019ll drive testing strategies, solve complex challenges, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to uphold Appleu2019s world-class quality standards. Responsibilities + Design and execute test plans to qualify wireless features (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, Zigbee) across iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug complex issues and ensure seamless integration of wireless technologies. + Drive functional, performance, and interoperability testing to deliver world-class user experiences. + Develop and maintain automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage. + Analyze results, identify root causes, and provide actionable feedback to continuously raise the bar for quality. + Champion a user-centric approach to testing, ensuring reliability and excellence in every release. Minimum Qualifications + Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. + Testing Development experiences in scripting languages, such as Python or Objective-C Preferred Qualifications + Experience in WiFi/BT or Thread/Zigbee (802.15.4) Functional or Performance Testing + Good Understanding and working knowledge of WiFi /BT/Thread/Zigbee (802.15.4) protocols + Experience in IoT domain & Home automation on 802.15.4, Thread. Zigbee, BLE, WiFi low power a plus + Experience in debugging wireless sniffers, protocol analyzers to debug and root cause issues (like WireShark, Ellisys Protocol Analysis, etc) + Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. + Upbeat, adaptable, with a positive, can-do attitude. + Outstanding communication skills vital to collaborate with multi-functional teams Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
