Pay Rate: $16.00/hourSchedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PMLocation: UTC Mall - Sarasota, FL Position Overview: We’re seeking reliable, energetic Porters to support the UTC Mall facilities team. This is a hands-on, outdoor position that involves walking throughout the property, keeping the walkways and public areas clean and well maintained. Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness of paver areas, sidewalks, and walkways Sweep, dust, and clean window ledges, light sconces, and other outdoor fixtures Remove cobwebs and litter, including cigarette butts and other debris Operate a golf cart to travel between assigned areas (though most of the day will be spent on foot) Maintain supplies (spray bottles, brooms, dustpans, etc.) and ensure equipment is clean and organized Provide polite, helpful assistance to mall visitors who ask for directions or information Represent the UTC Mall with a neat appearance and professional, friendly demeanor Requirements: Must be a self-starter who stays active and productive without constant supervision Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Basic English communication skills required to interact with mall staff and visitors Uniform: Navy polo shirt and khaki shorts (to start); official uniform will be provided later Must wear closed-toed shoes Additional Details: Includes a 30-minute lunch break and restroom breaks as needed Candidates should have common sense, a polite attitude, and attention to detail This position is part of the facilities support team and serves as an extension of the UTC Mall staff
