edical Office Manager McAllen, TX Mon-Fri 8am-5pm starting $50,000/year Position Summary: The Medical Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations, ensuring the efficient and compassionate delivery of patient care. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and organizational skills, capable of managing staff, coordinating scheduling, maintaining compliance, and supporting both medical and administrative teams. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Management: Supervise front office staff including receptionists, billing personnel, and medical records clerks. Coordinate patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/out processes. Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality. Oversee inventory and ordering of office and medical supplies. Ensure HIPAA compliance and clinic policy adherence. Financial and Billing Oversight: Monitor billing processes and assist in resolving insurance claim issues. Work with the billing team to ensure timely and accurate submission of claims. Prepare financial and operational reports for leadership review. Track budgets and expenses related to office operations. Staff Leadership & Development: Hire, train, and evaluate office staff performance. Develop and implement office policies and procedures. Schedule and lead staff meetings to ensure communication and alignment. Handle conflict resolution and promote a positive team environment. Patient Services & Communication: Ensure a professional, compassionate, and efficient patient experience. Serve as a point of escalation for patient concerns or complaints. Support coordination of care between patients, providers, and other departments. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred). 3-5 years of medical office management experience; oncology experience is a plus. Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes. Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
