Description Core Responsibilities:u2022 Supervise and assign tasks to a team of mechanics, welders, and fabricators.u2022 Make repairs on trucks/trailersu2022 Enforce safety protocolsu2022 Inventory management and equipment maintenance.Other Responsibilities:u2022 Monitor project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.u2022 Conduct quality control checks before trailers leave the shop.u2022 Provide technical guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members. Skills truck repair, trailer repair, supervisory skills, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprint reading, Supervision, Mechanical, Welding, Industrial, Weld Top Skills Details truck repair,trailer repair,supervisory skills,fabrication,hydraulics,pneumatics,blueprint reading,Supervision,Mechanical Additional Skills & Qualifications Qualifications:u2022 Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in trailer repair, fabrication, or related heavy-equipment maintenance such as excavating, construction equipment, etc. Strong preference of 5 or more years (Work/experience on Detroit and/or Cummins trucks is GREAT TO HAVE)u2022 Leadership experience is a MUSTu2022 Strong experience with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.u2022 Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with shop tools and diagnostic equipment.u2022 Excellent organizational skills with a focus on safety, compliance, and efficiency.u2022 Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and customers.u2022 Valid driveru2019s license and clean driving record. CDL A with Tank and hazmat preferred but NOT required.Preferred Skillsu2022 Experience with hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, and suspension components.u2022 Familiarity with welding processes (MIG/TIG/Stick) and metal fabrication techniques.u2022 Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.u2022 Forklift or heavy-lifting equipment certification.u2022 Basic computer skills for work order management and inventory tracking. Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr. u2022 Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance (with opt out payment option of $3,000). u2022 7 major holidays paid. u2022 5 sick and personal days. u2022 Vacation - 1 week after the first year, 2 weeks after the second year and 3 weeks after the fifth year. u2022 401(k) plan with company match up to 4% and company funded (5%) profit sharing pension plan.
