The Director, Product Engineering role will be a part of the Global Product Engineering team at Iron Mountain, reporting to the Engineering leadership - Global Platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience building enterprise-scale technology platforms, and implementing digital solutions for customers globally. As a senior leader in Global Product Engineering, you'll combine your years of proven expertise with a drive to create innovative technology through solid engineering practices. You'll lead a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists, data scientists, solution engineers, and architects who are developing and deploying applications to the highest standards. The ideal candidate would have the ability to attract, recruit, and retain the industry's best talent, and have the technical skills to effectively guide and participate in architectural discussions, technology roadmaps, and decisions to ensure we build impactful, compelling, and scalable solutions in an incremental fashion. The role is responsible for maintaining our competitive positioning to ensure that we have the best in class solution offerings that meet the regional needs for our clients. Responsibility and Authority: u25cf Oversight of design and delivery of effective solutions for InSight customers. u25cf Liaison with Solution team to bring effective solution to customers in a timely manner u25cf Responsible for the transition of the implemented features to account management and L3 support. u25cf Responsible for guiding the InSight technical implementation team on end-to-end solutions. u25cf Responsible for identifying, resolving, and when necessary, escalating any issues that may be impeding the success of the project. u25cf Responsible for team management, including setting goals, evaluating performance, and building a strong talent pool. u25cf Responsible for building end to end Physical Asset management solutions in DXP and supporting existing Physical management systems. Functional Knowledge Skills & Competencies: Skills: u25cf Strong technical background and understanding of enterprise solutions including networking, storage, hardware, and software layers. u25cf Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies and solutions (GCP or AWS or Azure) u25cf Strong understanding of Machine Learning and AI techniques, including usage of cognitive services and open source models. u25cf Working knowledge of Agile frameworks u25cf Strong understanding of Electronic Content Management Systems and Business Process Management Systems. u25cf Strong understanding of Cloud storage and backup u25cf Proficient in 5 or more of the following technologies/languages + Python + Java + SQL + BPMN + REST APIs + JSON/XML + Kubernetes + Computer Vision / NLP u25cf Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills u25cf Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills u25cf Ability to multitask and prioritize issues in a complex environment. u25cf Ability to participate and contribute in discussions related to ML/AI, ECM, BPM with various industry leading vendors.
