Position Overview: The Utilities Coordinator III/Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) works closely with the BIM Manager and the Los Angeles Community Colleges District to implement utility on the BuildLACCD program. Position Description: The Utilities Coordinator III/VDC for Build-LACCD is responsible for: uf0b7 Monitoring and reconciling the design, construction, and facilities submittal data related to underground utilities uf0b7 Collection and QA/QC of CMMS Data for Bond impacted facilities and infrastructure. This may include, but isu00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 not limited to, the following activities: u00a0 u00a0 o Review and upload equipment data from completed As-Builts to CMMS. u00a0 u00a0 o Review and upload GIS spatial data (building spaces, hardscape/softscape, landscape, infrastructure andu00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0security features) to CMMS. uf0b7 Managing and maintaining as-built information related to Bond impacted projects. This may include, but is notu00a0 u00a0 u00a0 limited to, researching data or documents in SharePoint, DocView or another accessible data source, tou00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 produce files or reports such as: u00a0 u00a0 o CAD/BIM As-Built drawings. u00a0 u00a0 o Underground utilities CAD database uf0b7 BuildLACCD CADD standards compliance review. u00a0 u00a0 o Utility Infrastructure (ASCE 38-02 and Underground Utility Standard compliance) u00a0 u00a0 o Spatial Reports, demonstrated in plans or tabular format. uf0b7 Supporting As-Built/M&O data delivery review at Ops Closeout for current Bond projects. This may include,u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 but is not limited to, the following activities: u00a0 u00a0 o BuildLACCD projects u00a0 u00a0 o District wide projects (Infrastructure, security, energy, stormwater) u00a0 u00a0 o Develop record utility maps of Bond impacted facilities and infrastructure. uf0b7 SharePoint record drawings database Support for BuildLACCD and LACCD u00a0 u00a0 o Research data uf0b7 Provide BIM Submittal tracking u00a0 u00a0o Reviewing underground utilities submittals for conformance to BuildLACCD and LACCD standards u00a0 u00a0o BIM submittal coordination between college project teams and design/construction teams. uf0b7 Work with BuildLACCD and LACCD teams to develop BIM and GIS scope of services as requested. uf0b7 Provide support as requested to BIM team with Revit, AutoCAD, SharePoint, Document Control, ESRI andu00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0closeout. uf0b7 Review utilities and BIM deliverables for ArcGIS online utility infrastructure integration. uf0b7 Site walks and spot checking of project sites. Including but not limited to LIDAR scanning, GPR surveying,u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 u00a0 GPS surveying and photography uf0b7 Travel to all BuildLACCD and LACCD project sites to provide QAQC and field collection Minimum Required Qualifications: uf0b7 Minimum 6 yearsu2019 recent experience in working in Architecture or Construction Management, with a u00a0 u00a0 specific focus on GIS and Building Information Modeling (BIM). uf0b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related degree (Can be substituted with 8 years of u00a0 u00a0 experience.) uf0b7 Advanced geographic information systems concepts, principles, practices and techniques, including computeru00a0 u00a0 u00a0 mapping and attribute conversions, transfer, manipulation and analysis. uf0b7 Experience utilizing BIM for 4D and project coordination/clash detection. uf0b7 Experience working with Design and Construction Teams. Preferred Qualifications: uf0b7 Strong knowledge of BIM and GIS workflows uf0b7 Experience knowledge to perform modeling and coordination task within AutoCAD, Revit and Map 3D uf0b7 Experience knowledge to perform data management task within SharePoint, BIM 360 Docs and u00a0 u00a0 Bluebeam. uf0b7 Experience knowledge to perform field survey data collection with ArcGIS Collector uf0b7 Strong experience with ArcGIS and Python software, tools and applications. uf0b7 Strong relational database concepts, methods and practices.
