JOB REQUIREMENTS: Current Employees: If you are currently employed atany of the Universities of Wisconsin, log in to Jobs Hub to applythrough the internal application process.Job Category:AcademicStaffEmployment Type:RegularJob Profile:Teaching Faculty IIJob Duties:Responsibilities: 75% teaching (generally instructing 3 courses persemester (fall, spring, summer) in a 100% online program withasynchronous and synchronous components), typically including: one3-credit course (core courses in the MSL program(3-credit capstone course(777) 3-credit field course (700) 25% in-person program support,including engagement and partnership/relationship building/sustainingwith the UW Athletics department, K-12 schools, other colleges anduniversities, and other sports entities for field placements Note: Thisis a hybrid position that can be primarily remote, with in-personattendance required for some department meetings and other events. Atouchdown office space will be provided in the Education Building(Madison, Wisconsin) as needed for meetings, events, and occasionalin-office work. Key Job Responsibilities: Assists in defining theobjectives of the program and plays a major role in carrying out programduties Supervises the day-to-day activities of work unit employeesinvolved in instructional support as needed Works with faculty toidentify and develop new methods of advancing instruction in thediscipline Provides classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction,including grading Assists in development of grant proposals for fundingof model instruction programs Develops teaching techniques that enhancecourse effectiveness in alignment with desired outcomes and establishedstrategy and may train other staff in use of these techniques May makepresentations to faculty and to staff members on instructional programsand techniques Assesses learner performance and prepares reportsrecommending instructional improvementsDepartment: School of Education /Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA) /Master's in Sports Leadership (MSL) programCompensation: Minimum$75,000 annually This position...
