Hereare a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Line CookFollow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, andpresent ordered items Maintain proper and adequate set-up of thekitchen/station on a daily basis Requisitioning and stocking of allrequired food, paper products, and condiments Handles, stores, androtates all products properly Responsible for set-up, regularmaintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of any machinery and equipmentResponsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storage of allperishables daily to ensure product quality Complete opening, on-going,and closing checklists as required Takes responsibility for quality ofproducts served Perform general and specific cleaning tasks usingstandard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to healthstandards Other duties as assigned The ideal candidate for this positionhas: At least 18 years old One year line cook experience in arestaurantVerbal and written communication is essential Ability to read, speak,and understand the English language in order to communicate with guestsand take orders Basic mathematical skills Ability to stand and work inconfined spaces for long period of time.
