FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: M-F 5:00am to 1:30pm Holidays: every otherholiday Weekends: every other weekend Job Summary: Responsible forperforming functions in the Linen Department which includes countingreturned linens, restocking, loading, pack preparation, and deliveriesaccording to approved procedures. Pushing/Pulling full linen cartsweighing upwards of 200-300 pounds throughout the hospital. Other dutiesas assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: 1 year of Warehouse or Laborerexperience preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma orequivalent is preferred. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: One to two monthson-the-job training to become proficient is provided. SPECIAL SKILLSDESCRIPTION: Works well in a team environment. Meets expectations ofhospital needs in an active work environment. Ability to adapt tochanging daily needs based on hospital needs. Knowledge of LinenDepartment techniques and computer functions preferred. Ability tofollow instructions in the use of: Computer, hand held palms, and heattransfer machine.
