Field Service Technician Commercial

JOB REQUIREMENTS: What to Expect Do you have a passion for acceleratingthe world's transition to sustainable energy? As a Commercial FieldService Technician, you will report to the Field Manager and providediagnostic, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenanceservices to Tesla's energy products including but not limited to:Commercial solar PV systems, Batteries such as Powerpacks and Megapacks,and Electric vehicle Charging Stations. The Field Energy Operations teamis responsible for the ongoing success of Tesla's class leading fleetof energy products. As part of our team, you will be empowered to workacross the entire Tesla organization to solve problems and ensure thesuccess of our Commercial Energy field service execution. Workingcross-functionally with Field Service Technician and Electriciancounterparts, Environment and Operations personnel, Health and Safety,and Field Service Leadership teams, you will leverage your hands-onknowledge and experience to ensure a positive customer experience andexceptional performance of Tesla's Commercial products. What You'll DoPerform required preventive maintenance activities on commercialinverters to maintain warranty coverage Respond to correctivemaintenance cases on commercial solar PV, commercial energy storagesystems, vehicle charging stations and updating online case logsaccurately Attend and demonstrate outstanding performance at multipleinverter training schools Work closely with members of the OperationsEngineering Systems Reliability team to respond to open case directionsand provide data where requested Report writing, where required, tocomply with deliverables in commercial O&M contracts Respond tocustomers' concerns with the performance or functionality of theirsystem Ensure the vehicle, tooling, electronics, software, and companyissued property are well-kept What You'll Bring Electrical tradesexperience within troubleshooting power electronics and low voltagecontrols Previous experience working with power/hand tools, electricalequipment, isolation meters and multimeters Experience navigatingnumerous computer applications and technology independently Flexibilityto work on weekends and/or overtime along with overnight stay to supportTesla's critical mission Ability to travel to numerous sites daily andtravel up to 2 weeks at a time with short notice. Must have compliantgovernment issued identification for domestic air travel and/or toaccess certain federal facilities Valid driver's license required Mustbe able to work...
