Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, TJC and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Is a member of the Surgical team who works with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses and other surgical personnel in delivering care, pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively. Maintains patient safety and confidentiality during the hospital stay. Embraces diversity by displaying sensitivity to different cultures and cultural backgrounds . Participates in the coverage of the departmental 'On Call' schedule as well as shift adjustment based on the needs of the department.1 year experience in acute care/stand alone ambulatory surgery center with focus on Ortho, Laparoscopic procedures, vascular, ophthalmology; or successful completion of a student clinical rotation at Glendale Memorial Hospital.Surgical Technician Training Course Graduate.BLS from AHAThis position is represented by CHEU
