Kelly Services is hiring for an Accountant in Kilgore, TX Pay: $29/hour Schedule: Mon - Fri 7a-4p Key Responsibilities: + Handle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, prepare and analyze financial statements + Accurately calculate commissions based on sales data and established compensation plans + Track and maintain accurate records of materials, labor costs, and project expenses + Perform light clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and handling correspondence + Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and clients to manage project timelines and expectations + Accurately prepare and submit invoices, purchase orders, and progress reports + Coordinate logistics and planning of material deliveries Work Experience: + Three to five years of experience in accounting role, preferably in the flooring or construction industry + Track record of managing budgets, financial reports, and vendor relationship Requirements: + Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles + Proficiency in accounting software e.g., QuickBooks + Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail + Proficient in Microsoft Excel + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills + Understanding tax laws in multiple states and how to stay in compliance What happens next: Once you apply, youu2019ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
