LC-MS/MS Lab Analyst in the SW Houston Area

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates with experience operating LC-MS/MS for an environmental lab in the SW Houston area. Candidates with experience analyzing environmental samples for PFAS will be given high priority. Job Responsibilities: + Prepare analytical standards, reagents, and solutions + Analysis of environmental samples for PFAS utilizing LC-MS/MS + Process and interpret complex chromatography and spectra + Maintain documentation of procedures according to established requirements + Perform all work within QC parameters and within specified turnaround times + Follow SOPu2019s and methodologies without deviation + Perform LC-MS/MS troubleshooting and maintenance + Maintain safe working conditions and a clean, orderly work area Qualifications: + BS/BA degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline + 5 years of analytical laboratory experience + Experience with LC-MS/MS instrumentation and analytical methods + Experience analyzing samples for PFAS is highly desirable + Ability to monitor and prioritize daily work assignments + Must be able to effectively perform duties under pressures arising from large sample volumes and short turn-around times + Must be able to recognize unsatisfactory analytical performance and suggest appropriate corrective actions + Strong organizational skills and attention to details + Good verbal and written communication skills + Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office This is a Direct Hire position with a day shift work schedule and a pay rate commensurate upon level of education and experience.
