Description Unique attorney opportunity with a boutique law firm in Glendale. This firm handles business and real estate litigation and transactional matters as outside counsel for several high-end clients. The firm is looking for an attorney with over 6 years of experience in business litigation. The ideal candidate will also have some transactional experience, but it is not required. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex business and real estate litigation cases, as well as transactional matters for a diverse client base. This is a lifestyle firm with 1450 billable hour target because the emphasis is on quality over grinding billable hours. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee and manage business and real estate litigation cases from initiation through trial, ensuring thorough preparation and execution. u2022 Handle transactional matters such as drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, and operating agreements for clients. u2022 Provide strategic advice to business owners and investors on compliance, transactions, and potential disputes. u2022 Mentor and guide attorneys at the start of their careers and support staff to foster growth within the firm. u2022 Represent clients during court appearances and ensure effective advocacy. u2022 Conduct and manage discovery processes, including depositions, pleadings, and motion practices. u2022 Maintain a target of 1,450 billable hours annually while delivering high-quality legal services. u2022 Build strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering personalized solutions. Compensation: u2022 Pay up to 200,000 per year, with additional annual bonuses. u2022 Medical dental vision STIPEND. u2022 PTO. Requirements u2022 Active license to practice law in California. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, ideally with a mix of business and real estate litigation and transactional exposure. u2022 Strong background in transactional law, including drafting and negotiating legal documents, a strong plus but the litigation experience is a must-have.
