Job Summary and Qualifications The Nursing Supervisor of Behavioral Health Services is responsible for assisting the Director of Behavioral Health Services and Nursing Director of Behavioral Health in management of the behavioral health services department. The supervisor will be responsible for, scheduling behavioral health staff, tracking compliance of behavioral health staff with education and Licensure requirements, and evaluating the performance of the Behavioral Health Staff. The supervisor assists the nursing director with educating nursing staff in all behavioral health areas, The supervisor also performs nursing duties as indicated. The supervisor will be cross trained in the various functions of the department, such as Intake, UR, IOP, the administration of electro-convulsion therapy and unit duties. The supervisor will supervise these positions for compliance and education. What qualifications you will need: + Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) + Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing + Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Nonviolent Crisis Intervention + Other-Fingerprint Required HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is 467-bed hospital.
