We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications We are currently seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to join our team. As our Cardiovascular Technician, you will assist in cardiac catheterization, as well as vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will also perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedure u2013 IAB and temporary pacer insertion. You will follow established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or credentialed invasive radiologist. Take the next step in your career and apply now Your tasks and responsibilities may include: u00b7 You will demonstrate responsibility and accountability in recognizing and identifying potential and actual patient problems, collecting accurate data and participate in the patientu2019s Place of Care in accordance with the department/unitu2019s standards. u00b7 You will prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities. u00b7 You will demonstrate knowledge of cardiac A & P, with the specific conditions and diseases (CAD), and treatment therapies for the specific patient populations of the Department. u00b7 You will demonstrate knowledge and competency to perform Cath lab procedures. u00b7 You will assist in data collection and r/t cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal and peripheral vascular procedures. u00b7 You will also document findings and reports abnormal or out-of-range results to physician. Qualifications: u00b7 High school or GED required u00b7 Graduate of an accredited CVT or RCVT program preferred or an LPN, Registered Respiratory Therapist or Paramedic with 1 year hospital-based experience, u00b7 Must have an RCIS certification u00b7 Current BLS (Basic Life Support) u00b7 Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) u00b7 Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a 340 bed hospital. We serve Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties. We offer specialty services including surgical, oncology and thoracic surgery. We have heart, vascular, behavioral health and obstetrics services. Our obstetrics services include a NICU and maternal fetal medicine. We offer ER 24/7 facilities to the surrounding areas for emergency services.
