Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. This opportunity is ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering accurate financial insights. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct detailed financial analysis, including data mining and variance analysis, to support business decision-making. u2022 Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and forecast future outcomes. u2022 Prepare and present reports summarizing financial data, trends, and recommendations. u2022 Assist in the creation of budgets and forecasts, utilizing zero-based or bottom-up/top-down approaches. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting. u2022 Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial operations and implement effective solutions. u2022 Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards when handling sensitive financial information. u2022 Support ad hoc financial analysis requests to address emerging business needs. u2022 Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail. u2022 Communicate findings and recommendations effectively in both written and verbal formats. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. u2022 2-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or equivalent roles. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a performance-driven mindset. u2022 Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for presenting information and collaborating with teams. u2022 Demonstrated ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and apply mathematical concepts effectively. u2022 Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
