Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team in St Petersburg, Florida. Whatu2019s in it for you? + Join a respected firm with deep community roots + Fast track to shareholder + Work with diverse clients across industries and sectors + Get mentored by partners invested in your success + Access strong benefits, bonuses, and career stability Responsibilities: u2022 Review and prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, fiduciary trusts, estates, and tax-exempt organizations. u2022 Establish and maintain strong client relationships by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of their industries and financial needs. u2022 Draft internal memoranda, correspondence, and documentation for submission to relevant tax authorities. u2022 Oversee multiple client accounts, ensuring efficient management of budgeted hours and project timelines. u2022 Provide training and mentorship to less experienced staff members to enhance their technical expertise. u2022 Conduct thorough research on tax-related topics, summarizing findings and providing actionable solutions. u2022 Utilize advanced tax software and tools, including CCH ProSystem Fx, to ensure accurate and efficient reporting. u2022 Assist with annual income tax provisions and corporate tax return filings. u2022 Offer guidance on entity formation and compliance with applicable tax laws. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. u2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. u2022 A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services. u2022 Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing complex income tax returns for various entities. u2022 Strong research skills with the ability to analyze tax regulations and provide clear conclusions. u2022 Significant experience in supervising and managing teams. u2022 Proficiency in tax software systems such as CCH ProSystem Fx, as well as Excel and Word. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
