Program Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in aerospace and systems engineering to lead complex projects in the high-tech engineering sector. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage cross-functional teams, ensure program success, and maintain alignment with both technical and business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to deliver results in a client-facing environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver aerospace and defense programs on schedule, within scope, and within budget. u2022 Develop comprehensive technical and programmatic plans based on customer requirements. u2022 Oversee systems engineering processes, including requirements development, system architecture, verification, validation, and risk management. u2022 Coordinate the integration of aerospace systems, including mechanical, electrical, software, and avionics components. u2022 Create and maintain program schedules, budgets, resource plans, and progress reports. u2022 Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to achieve program objectives. u2022 Conduct internal and external program reviews, facilitating technical discussions with stakeholders. u2022 Support business development initiatives by preparing proposals, delivering technical presentations, and negotiating contracts. u2022 Identify and mitigate risks associated with technical and programmatic challenges. u2022 Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations throughout program execution. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. u2022 At least 7 years of experience in aerospace or defense programs, with 3+ years in program or project management roles. u2022 Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a client-facing capacity. u2022 Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and lifecycles. u2022 Proficiency with program management tools such as Project, Jira, and Confluence. u2022 Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and verbal and written communication skills. u2022 Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) are a plus. u2022 Must be eligible to work in the U.S., with the ability to obtain a security clearance preferred.
