Overview P osition: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics Location: 20577 Amberfield Dr, Land O Lakes, Florida 34638 Schedule: Part Time Mon - Fri. Center Hours: Mon-Thurs 7-7, Fri 7-5 Compensation: $26/hr - $30/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience. Select Physical Therapy is now hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Part Time outpatient opportunity up to 24 hours weekly . Experienced PTA with minimum of 1 yr experience in outpatient orthopedics, APPLY Join our team treating general outpatient orthopedic conditions (non-op, pre-op post-op), neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, amputees, fall prevention and ACL. Let's foster your growth Responsibilities + Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act. + Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures + Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications + College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program + Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE + Minimum 1 yr experience working in outpatient orthopedics. + Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process) + CPR Certification Additional Data Fostering Well-Being : We offer benefits which support the financial, work/life and emotional well-being of you and your family members.
