The Physician work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Keeps a medical history and medical records. Refers the patient to specialists as needed. Begins to influence departmentu2019s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Use your skills to make an impact Total Compensation Package (base pay + bonus) could exceed $300k, depending on experience and location. This full-time position will be located at our South Daytona center. Responsibilities: u00b7 Evaluates and treats center patients in accordance with standards of care. u00b7 Follows level of medical care and quality for patients and monitors care using available data and chart reviews. u00b7 Assists in the coordination of patient services, including but not limited to specialty referrals, hospital and SNF coordination, durable medical equipment and home health care. u00b7 Acts as an active participant and key source of medical expertise with the care team through daily huddles. u00b7 Helps Regional Medical Director (RMD) and Center Administrator (CA) in setting a tone of cooperation in practice by displaying a professional and approachable demeanor. u00b7 Completes all medical record documentation in a timely manner working with a quality- based coder to optimize coding specificity. u00b7 Follows policy and protocol defined by Clinical Leadership. u00b7 Meets with RMD about quality of care, review of outcome data, policy, procedure and records issues. u00b7 Participates in potential growth opportunities for new or existing services within the center. u00b7 Participates in the local primary care u201con-callu201d program of Conviva as needed. u00b7 Assures personal compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies. u00b7 Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient facing time and general administrative time (charting, meetings, etc.) as it relates to direct patient care. Required Qualifications: u00b7 Current and unrestricted medical license or eligible to obtain a medical license in state of practice (FL) u00b7 Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university u00b7 Board Certification or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (Geriatric Medicine preferred) u00b7 Active and unrestricted DEA license u00b7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills u00b7 Demonstrate a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues/patients u00b7 Fully engaged in the concept of u201cintegrated team-based careu201d model u00b7 Willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting u00b7 Superior patient/customer service u00b7 Basic computer skills, including email and EMR u00b7 This role is considered patient facing and is a part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $203,400 - $299,500 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
