Our Advertising department is hiring for a success-driven Account Manager 2u00a0to join our agency teamu00a0The Account Manager 2 (AM 2) role is a mid-level position within the Agency Services team, responsible for managing client relationships and leading digital marketing efforts across platforms including Search, Social, Programmatic, and Seattle Times-owned properties.u00a0 AM 2s serve as strategic leads on assigned accounts, partnering with internal teams across Creative, Campaign Management, Sales, and Ad Operations to ensure client goals are met and campaign execution aligns with performance expectations. This role is ideal for those with a solid foundation in digital marketing and client service, looking to deepen their ownership of strategy and campaign outcomes. u00a0 Work Location: This is a hybrid position. This position will require two days per week in the office with additional days as needed. While this position is hybrid, the finalist must be a current or future resident of the greater Seattle or Puget Sound area.u00a0 Responsibilities: + Manage fulfillment across both agency-led and Seattle Times-owned campaigns + Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients + Lead onboarding and campaign fulfillment across internal and external platforms + Set creative direction and present final deliverables to client. + Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend optimizations based on goals + Coordinate with internal teams on timeline, assets, and reporting + Participate in pre-sale strategy and support Sales on client planning + Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to revenue growth + Maintain fluency in digital advertising trends, platform standards, and analytics tools + Synthesize multi-platform data into meaningful insights for internal and client-facing reporting u00a0 Qualifications: + 2u20134 years of experience in digital marketing, account management, or agency strategy roles + Prior experience in a hybrid account strategy, agency lead, or client success role + Proven ability to lead strategic conversations with both clients and internal teams + Deep knowledge of agency deliverables, including paid media (search, social, programmatic, CTV, DOOH, email) and content marketing (branded content, storytelling, SEO), as well as Seattle Times advertising products + Proven expertise in The Seattle Timesu2019 suite of products and digital agency services + Experience shaping cross-channel campaign strategies, proposals, and measurement plans + Comfortable interpreting campaign data and using performance insights to drive renewals and growth + Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; able to influence across sales, ops, and content teams + Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and professionalism in both internal and client-facing settings + Comfortable navigating ambiguity and supporting complex, cross-functional sales processes + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Adpoint, HubSpot) + High level of organization, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving u00a0 Compensation: u00a0 The full salary range for this position is $67,100 to $92,200. We typically pay between $67,100 to $83,900, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for additional at-goal incentive pay of $500 per month.
