Come and experience your future The WorkThe Air Traffic Control Specialist will learn all equipment associated with the duties and responsibilities of a Sikorsky Air Traffic Controller. • Develop skills required to operate all equipment to provide service to pilots. • Become trained and current in both Tower and Radar. Ensure Runway/Helicopter separation is maintained. • Enforce spacing and sequencing of all traffic transitioning in/out or through our assigned airspace.• Controllers must be able to understand complex situations, such as the impact of changing weather patterns on a plane's flight path. • Controllers need to be able to prioritize tasks, as they may be required to guide several pilots at the same time and provide assistance during emergencies.Please Note:• 'If you are hired you will be performing a safety-sensitive position covered by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) these regulations require that you participate in a drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine - Amphetamines - Phencyclidine or a metabolite of these drugs.”Who We AreWe've been pioneering flight solutions that bring people home everywhere, every time since 1923.
