Description The Athletics Department at WVU Potomac State College is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Softball Coach. The Assistant Coach will assist the head coach and Athletics Director in all daily operations of the PSC softball team and also as needed in the Athletics Department. What You'll Do Daily responsibilities of coaching Run practices according to the college mission Meet and travel with team Drive passenger vans as needed for team travel Assist in the recruitment and retention of student-athletes Abide by NJCAA, WVU, and Potomac State policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Length of Assignment: 10 Months Work Hours: 5.5 Hours Per Week Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of one (1) year of experience in playing or coaching at the college level Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered All qualifications must be met by the time of employment Requirements First aid and CPR certification Valid driver's license About WVU West Virginia University is a place of purpose and community.
