We offer a competitive compensation package.Job SummaryDevelops detailed coordination and fabrication drawings for underground, above ground, overhead interstitial space, electrical/equipment room, and systems drawings. Communication with VDC Electrical Manager and support electrical field staff in installation needs.Responsibilities and DutiesProduces all VDC electrical deliverables drawings consistent with specifications, prefabrication guidelines and department standards.Performs verification and preparation of submittal drawings to meet department and customer requirements.Prepares RFI documentation requesting clarification of original architectural design and the organization and follow-up responses.Labels and dimensions drawings prepared by department pletes all project as built drawings per field comments.Reads architectural and structural floor plans, sections and elevations.Confers with VDC Manager and project manager staff to resolve problems and explaining drawings to production or construction teams and providing adjustments as necessary.Attends coordination meetings with general contractors.Manage incoming and outgoing 3D coordination and submittal content both in-house and from sub-contractors.Assist PMs at high level with material procurement with reports and BOMs.Coordinate with in-house off site construction facility.Qualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required. Education/Experience: Meets one of the following requirements:Bachelors Degree in a Construction or Technology Studies related discipline, ORAt least 2 years of electrical drafting experience, ORCompetent in the electrical trade with at least 5 years of electrical field experience, OREquivalent combination of the above. General understanding of all facets of construction blueprints (architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and special systems).Computer Skills: Must be proficient in using email, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing applications: specifically Microsoft Office products.
