Under the leadership of the Director of Hydronics and Water Heating, take a lead role in developing sales and support of the hydronic offering of Famous Supply by; actively participating in contractor sales, training, job site visits, quotations, and identification of hydronic customers and targets. The Hydronic Product Specialist will be part of the marketing and product recommendations and will provide technical sales support in system design, layout, troubleshooting, and supporting branch questions towards hydronics.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in hydronic market development through customer identification, sales support, customer training and development, and sales team developmentSupport Sales team and customers in system design, application, proposal generation, and presentationsField Technical sales support by site walk-through, system analysis, application analysis, performance recommendations to meet customers requirements.Train branch personnel within assigned territoryMake recommendations for effective branch inventory, stock levels, new product offerings, consolidation opportunities.Job RequirementsStrong knowledge of various hydronic systems, components, and control systemsSolid Computer skills. A demonstrated ability to quickly learn and work with Outlook, Excel, Eclipse operating system, Radiant Design software.Good presentation skills for group training and sales support. Must be a team player and have above-average communication skills.Skilled in troubleshooting hydronic applicationsQualificationsA positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, creativity, leadership, teamwork, professionalism, and a strong desire for continuous improvement are important for this position. Occasional overnight travel required.Education and/or ExperienceRequires successful completion of an approved HVAC/R vocational curriculum and at least 3 years in the industry.
