We offer full workdays in a shop where technicians are not stacked on top of each other, where you are not asked to share your tools.  If this sounds like an environment you would like to work in, we encourage you to apply!​Position: Classic Car Automotive Technician Location: Joe Basil Chevrolet, 5111 Transit Rd Depew NY 14043Schedule: Full-time (No Sundays)Classic Car Automotive Technician Compensation: Between $50,000- $85,000 annually (based on knowledge, experience, and volume)Classic Car Automotive Technician Job Duties:General mechanical knowledge on classic cars ranging from 1940s - early 2000s Perform basic breaks, suspension, transmission, and engine services Minor interior trim Electrical repairs Performs work outlined on repair orders with efficiency/accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended Communicates and works effectively with the parts department to obtain needed parts Communicates with the service advisor if additional work is needed or recommended Accurately documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order Road tests vehicles when required Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of all information provided on manufacturer technical bulletins Ensures that the customers car is kept clean Ensures work area is always maintained and cleaned Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner Classic Car Automotive Technician Benefits:Work/Life BalanceWeekly PayAffordable Medical Benefits Paid Time OffOngoing training and advancement opportunitySpecial employee pricing on vehicles and partsValid Driver License is required
