Chief Engineer - QA/QC

This individual could be located in any of our 3 NJ offices (Warren, Red Bank or Ridgewood): What You'll Do:Provide high-level strategy for unique design projectsInternal Quality Assurance / Quality Control aspects during the project design and construction process:Ensure compliance with all internal Quality Control processesCompletion of Quality Checklists for designReviewing site/civil design plans and calculations throughout the project life cycleDetailing consistencyConstructability reviewAssessment / improvement / maintenance of QA/QC procedureProviding recommendations on individual projects to mitigate risk for our clients throughout design and construction.Assist design team in support of construction administration services for design projectsBe a resource for project teams, answer questions, provide one-on-one training and oversight when needed for staffComplies with all policies and standardPerforms other duties as assignedWhat We Offer:A supportive and flexible work environment that empowers employees to pursue both professional and personal goalsThe opportunity to take ownership of your career with an unsurpassed focus on career development and mentorshipOngoing and frequent learning & development opportunities to improve soft and technical skillsVisibility and inclusion across Branch projectsOpen and transparent communication with senior leadership as well as local office managementTeam building activities/events and a collaborative work environmentWhat You'll Need:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred15+ years of experience in site/civil designProficient with New Jersey land development procedures, regulations, and codesA passion for, and experience with, site design, creative problem-solving, and mentoring othersAttention to detailProfessional Engineer (PE) License preferredSalary $125,000 - $175,000.
