This role ensures that our total rewards strategy is competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company’s overall business objectives, attracting and retaining top talent. This person will analyze market data, ensure compliance with regulations and communicate programs effectively to employees. The Total Rewards Manager will have a key role in identifying, developing, recommending, implementing and measuring meaningful change in the Total Rewards function. Essential Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for implementing the Total Rewards Benefits Strategy, including making recommendations for plan design changes, offerings, and reporting.Responsible for the accurate administration of health plans across all lines of business for all employee types. This includes enrollment, maintenance, editing, and adhering to all required compliance with vendors, systems processes, and procedures.Manage and monitor vendor performance; develop and enforce contract performance guarantees.Completion of all auditing and reporting requirements mandated for accurate and legal benefit plan administration.Knowledge of the entire PMF benefit package including an overall understanding of available resources for support.Educate employees on total rewards programs and changes, empowering them with knowledge about benefits and growth. Administer compensation programs including the merit process, pay scales, survey participation, data analysis and trending as well as compensation integration for mergers and acquisitions.Participate in job evaluation and salary structure maintenance, ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, fairness, and transparency. Administer bonus incentive programs including the tracking and calculation of bonus cycle payouts and reporting. Stay current on any legal updates, changes or new ideas relative to the Total Rewards Strategy.Oversee the accurate and timely payroll processing for 850 employees, addressing tax benefits and compliance related inquires. Manage and support payroll team members to resolve day-to-day challenges. Provide payroll-related reporting to support financial and operational decision-making. Ensure all processes align with best practices and regulatory requirements. Develop, mentor, and guide the Total Rewards team to achieve departmental goals. Serve as an escalation resource for the Total Rewards team, which will include research, vendor and/or technical outreach to resolve more complex benefit customer service issues. Understand ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, & DOT regulations.Work closely with Total Rewards Team and HRIS vendors to align business processes within systems.Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Participate as a member of Integration Team for Acquisitions.Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as assignedWork EnvironmentWork performed in office and manufacturing facility settingsEducation/QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.5-7 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role. 5-7 years HR system experience supporting payroll, compensation and/or benefitsCertified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred. Strong knowledge of total rewards principles, theories, and practices, including current trends and regulatory requirements. Proven experience with HRIS systems, compensation software, and benefits administration software. Kronos Workforce Ready experience preferred.
