Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.Key Responsibilities:Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark compensation practices against industry standards and competitorsPartcipate in the design and implementation of compensation programs, including salary ranges, geographic differentials, and variable pay plansAnalyze compensation data to identify trends and variances, and recommend changes as appropriatePrepare compensation reports and recommendationsAssist with maintaining the job description libraryConduct periodic Fair Labor Standards Act analysisEnsure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations regarding compensation and reportingCollaborate with HR and management to develop compensation strategies that align with business objectivesSupport annual compensation planning processes, including merit increases and bonus allocationsManage the compensation survey participation process and maintain survey library; research and identify new surveys as competitive landscape evolvesProvide guidance to HR and management on compensation-related inquiries and policiesBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field3+ years of experience in compensation design and analysis, preferably in the insurance or financial services industryStrong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and relevant laws/regulationsProficient in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, HRIS systems)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaborativelyDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracyBenefitsCompetitive base compensationEmployer paid continuing education courses and designations via access to Kaufman InstituteHealth and welfare benefits including medical, vision and dental401K with employer matchPaid vacation, sick time, and holidaysAccess to Kaufman Wellness ProgramFlexible and hybrid work optionsH.W.
