Who are we looking for?CAPTRUST seeks an accomplished and dedicatedSales Enablement Director to design and lead the sales enablement function within a growing 40+ person marketing department. This role will be responsible for evolving the firm’s sales enablement strategy across business lines, referral sources, marketing channels, and strategic initiatives. The role is highly collaborative within the department and across the organization with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, sales leaders, and executive leadership. Associated projects, initiatives, and bodies of work are consistent with a highly dynamic environment, a rapid growth focused culture, and an integrated marketing approach with an emphasis on a consultative sales cycle and solution orientation.Sales Enablement Leadership, Strategy & GovernanceDesign, execute, and continually improve the firm’s overall sales enablement strategy across business lines and channels to deepen client engagement, improve sales effectiveness and efficiency, and accelerate the firm's revenue growth.Build, develop, and lead a high performing team to help the firm establish and achieve its strategic growth goals.Develop, maintain, govern, and evolve a centralized repository of all collateral, case studies, deliverables, presentations, proposal templates, and playbooks for business development purposes.Ongoing management, curation, and advancement of the firm’s sales enablement platform to align with the needs of our organization, evolving capabilities and technologies, and wide range of use cases to establish and enhance a premium service experience.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Content DevelopmentPartner closely with sales, leadership, subject matter experts, and marketing to create clear, value-driven messaging, materials, and engagement to support evolving business lines, sales initiatives, and organizational priorities.Serve as a leader within the marketing department working closely with demand generation, data, and creative function leaders to achieve appropriate outcomes, collaboration, and alignment.Sales Support & ExecutionDeliver real-time prospect interaction and point of sale deliverable support for our sales force, including execution for, or coordination of, static and dynamic materials, pricing, custom analysis, subject matter expert involvement, fulfillment, and delivery.Performance Measurement & Continuous ImprovementEstablish and ensure appropriate feedback loops, performance metrics, and dashboards to measure impact and effectiveness of playbooks, materials, positioning, internal promotion, engagement, utilization, and outcomes to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvement.Compliance & Regulatory OversightEnsure all sales enablement materials, communications, and processes adhere to applicable regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards, including those specific to the financial services industry.Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk management teams to review, approve, and update collateral and messaging, mitigating potential risks and maintaining audit-ready documentation.Innovation & Best PracticesProactively evaluate emerging sales enablement technologies and best practices including the use of Generative AI, predictive analytics, and automated personalization to enhance sales effectiveness, scalability, and client engagement.Minimum Qualifications:Successfully demonstrated 10+ years of experience in specific or similar functioned roles commensurate with the outlined role responsibilitiesBachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, marketing, or similar degree, advanced degree (MBA or relevant masters) is a plusProven track record of driving measurable impact through sales enablement strategies and toolsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a growing footprintDemonstrated ability and examples of value and optimization impact, experience within professional or financial services industry is a plusStrong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with experience engaging cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and initiative and sales leadersEstablished ability to effectively identify, hire, develop lead, support, and elevate a high functioning, experienced, and committed team of professionalsExcellent project management, organizational, and communication skills necessary with an appropriate level of attention to detail and accountabilityProficiency with modern marketing and sales technology platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics, Seismic, Asana, Power BI, and experience managing external vendor relationshipsDesired Qualifications/Skills:Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who can design, communicate, and establish a vision for the firm’s strategic sales enablement strategyDeep understanding of the business development and marketing activities, challenges, and requirements associated with an RIA within the financial services industry specifically for wealth management, retirement plan, and endowment foundation audiencesResourceful, self-starter, with a growth mindset, strong change management capabilities, and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environmentSkilled at prioritizing resources, managing deadlines, and adapting to a rapidly changing environmentFamiliarity with and ability to evaluate and adapt to technology and vendors that support sales enablement strategies.
