Join our team as a Cardiovascular Lab Specialist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). You will assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies.In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:One year of Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience, preferred. Special procedures experience, preferredA graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate academic program in health science or Graduate of an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology also acceptable-requiredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association requiredCurrent Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire or within 6 Months of HireColorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technologist Certification upon hire unless performing SA duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only) requiredFor RCIS role, one of the following licenses is required:Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI; OR Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); OR RRT with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through ARRT requiredNon-registered applicants who meet other qualifications listed above will be required to obtain RCIS, RCES, or with post primary certification of Cardiac-Interventional Radiography through ARRT within 18 months of hire.Schedule: full-time, including call requirements. 30 minute callback radius applies.Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)At CommonSpirit Mountain Region, we believe in the healing power of humanity and serving the common good through our dedicated work and shared mission to celebrate humankindness.Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprised of Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest.
