The Business Development Senior Analyst - Experience, Restructuring & Liability Management is an integral part of Latham’s Business Development (BD) team and will be responsible for working with the Business Development Experience Manager to support and maintain the firm's deal and case database, while overseeing incoming experience data and proactively maintaining the firm’s database. This role will be located in our Global Services office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Other key responsibilities include:Staying abreast of developments and trends in the area of restructuringActing as a liaison between attorneys, local and global BD management and staff, and the BD Experience team by providing subject matter expert-level supportThinking proactively and leading reorganizational changes to database information to ensure information is easily attainableFostering communication within Marketing Technology, the various teams within BD, and those external to BD to create a seamless experience collection processPrioritizing and coordinating with team members on exports of data for business development efforts and preparing custom reports on an as-needed basisProtecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retainsWe’d love to hear from you if you:Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firmPossess the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focusDemonstrate the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretionAnd have:A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experienceExperience in a law firm or professional services organization profiling restructuring matters or working as a Litigation ParalegalExperience with marketing databases, market/company research, and project management, preferablyRelevant experience working with legal markets in the US, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, preferablySuccessful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
