You will lead company initiatives related to quality within the plant and will proactively identify and mitigate customer dissatisfaction, defects, and cycle time risks through advanced planning and use of quality management principles., What You Will DoManage quality related issues and actively solve quality problemsPartner with our production team to identify and close quality gaps and implement improvements, Perform spot checks for specific projects and make recommendations for correctionMonitor project performance in cooperation with the Project Manager/Product Owner and ensure that preventive and corrective actions have been implementedCreate/update quality processes as requiredCoach team members on the use of quality processes, tools, metrics, vestigate, select and facilitate use of new quality methods and toolsEnsure compliance with specifications and quality standardsApply standardized tools including FMEA, Pareto Charts, and 8D Root Cause AnalysisDrive knowledge sharing by capturing best practices and lessons learnedSupport and coach other quality specialists
