Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead our Accounting Department and collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer. This role is vital in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with internal policies, and overseeing essential accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial management, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the Accounting Department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to organizational policies. u2022 Manage and maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely entries. u2022 Supervise the financial close process, ensuring deadlines are consistently met. u2022 Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. u2022 Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to support strategic financial initiatives and reporting. u2022 Monitor and enforce compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. u2022 Lead the preparation and submission of annual financial reports. u2022 Implement and oversee document control processes, including scanning and compiling financial documents. u2022 Facilitate audits by providing accurate documentation and responding to inquiries. u2022 Identify opportunities for process improvement within accounting operations and implement solutions. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles. u2022 Proven expertise in document control, scanning, and compiling financial records. u2022 Strong knowledge of annual financial reporting standards and requirements. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent collaboration and communication skills. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
