Sonographer General & Vascular in Santa Fe, New Mexicou2013 Join Our Imaging Team Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Sonographer in Santa Fe, New Mexico for one of our respected healthcare partners in New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated imaging professional to perform high-quality ultrasound exams, ensure accurate diagnostics, and provide compassionate care in a collaborative medical environment. Location : Santa Fe, New Mexico Schedule : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm Pay Rate: $32.00-42.00/hr. (based on experience) Key Responsibilities u2022 Perform comprehensive ultrasound and vascular imaging procedures following ACR protocols. u2022 Communicate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and other staff to confirm exam requirements and ensure diagnostic accuracy. u2022 Prepare exam rooms, assist patients with gowning and positioning, and explain procedures clearly. u2022 Set up surgical trays and assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided needle procedures. u2022 Review images for completeness and pathology; ensure all documentation and worksheets are accurate and ready for radiologist review. u2022 Maintain equipment and exam rooms u2014 perform daily cleaning, restocking, and assist with scheduling preventative maintenance. u2022 Train new sonographers on equipment, protocols, and systems as needed. Qualifications u2022 Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Sonography or equivalent experience. u2022 Licensure/Certification: u25cb ARDMS registry or registry-eligible (must pass within one year of hire). u25cb State of New Mexico Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) License required. u25cb CPR Certification required. u2022 Technical Skills: u25cb Knowledge of ultrasound procedures and techniques (including Doppler and vascular). u25cb Working knowledge of Windows Operating System and MI software. u25cb Strong anatomy and physiology understanding, including cross-sectional imaging. u2022 Soft Skills: u25cb Excellent verbal communication and patient interaction skills. u25cb Critical thinking and ability to work independently. u25cb Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain HIPAA privacy standards.
