Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Scottsville, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in managing full-cycle payroll processes for a large workforce. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee and execute full-cycle payroll processing for over 500 employees on a regular schedule. u2022 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations across multiple states. u2022 Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage and process payroll efficiently. u2022 Handle payroll-related tasks such as deductions, garnishments, and adjustments with precision. u2022 Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports to maintain accuracy and transparency. u2022 Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address and resolve payroll discrepancies. u2022 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. u2022 Use Sage 300 for job costing and payroll integration, ensuring accurate allocation of labor costs. u2022 Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxation, and benefits. u2022 Implement best practices to improve payroll processes and enhance operational efficiency. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including handling payroll for over 500 employees. u2022 Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements. u2022 Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now for payroll management. u2022 Familiarity with Sage 300 and job costing processes. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex payroll tasks accurately. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies. u2022 Effective communication skills to interact with employees and cross-functional teams. u2022 Ability to adapt to changing regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws.
