Description Robert Half is partnering with an in-house defense counsel seeking a skilled No-Fault Attorney to manage cases from inception through resolution. This role involves court appearances across all venues in the Metropolitan area, conducting Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), and handling arbitration matters. The attorney will also be responsible for motion practice and preparing master arbitration documents for submission to the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Location: Long Island, New York Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (3u20136 Month Contract) Compensation: $45+/hour (Depending on Experience) Work Arrangement: On-site, 5 days a week Key Responsibilities: + Represent clients in No-Fault cases, including trials, motions, depositions, and conferences + Conduct EUOs and manage arbitration proceedings + Draft and file legal documents, including motions and arbitration submissions + Appear in court across various venues in the Metropolitan area + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective case resolution Qualifications: + Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school + Admission to the New York State Bar is required + Prior experience in No-Fault litigation including trials, motions, depositions, arbitrations, and legal documentation + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload Requirements u2022 Must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution. u2022 Active attorney license in good standing, with admission to the state bar. u2022 Proven experience handling No-Fault cases, including trials, motions, depositions, and arbitrations. u2022 Strong civil litigation skills with a demonstrated ability to draft motions and legal briefs. u2022 Familiarity with conducting discovery and preparing legal documents. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. u2022 Knowledge of the insurance industry and related legal processes is highly preferred.
