Conduct legal research and/or draft memoranda on intellectual property issues. Collaborate with team members on transactional matters, including Intellectual Property licensing and technology transfer agreements. Assist with copyright and trademark enforcement and basic Intellectual Property due diligence when needed. Liaise with French counsel and companies and domestic clients regarding a variety of issues. Draft correspondence and memoranda to clients and participate in conference calls to discuss status and next steps.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience as a Law Clerk, Legal Intern, Intern or related. In the alternative, employer will accept an LL.M. plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience as an as a Law Clerk, Legal Intern or related. Experience must include six (6) months of transactional intellectual property work; knowledge of the European legal system related to commercial transactions and understanding key implications between the different systems; and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements in an international environment.
