This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.We are looking for an entry-level general helper who is committed to safety, and quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is requiredResponsibilities:Help with the setup of new production work areas to include, tooling and equipmentCapable of operating material handling equipment including forklifts, fork trucks, and other ground support equipment as requiredHelping with Continuous Improvement projects for area safety and efficiencyPerform routine functions such as daily clean-up of work areas, support 5S activities, and eliminate FODAbility to move parts and tooling from one work center to anotherAbility to work off-shift, extended hours, overtime, and weekends if/when necessaryOther duties as assigned by higher level technicians/supervision or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and visionQualifications:High School diploma or GEDExperience in at least three of the following is required:Some experience with hand tools and assembliesAbility to work from written work instructionsCommunicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and personBasic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areasPerform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbsDesired:Work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilitiesContinuous improvement mindset.
