This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.JOB SUMMARYAdminister human resources policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. Promote equity, fair treatment, and positive employee relations and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws. Provide comprehensive HR support, directly or indirectly to a designated client group in the area of recruitment and retention of critical talent, continuous performance coaching and management, pro-active issue/problem identification and resolution, and coaching and development for more effective leadership decision and communication skills. Understand and support the accomplishment of business priorities. Build credible relationships with Business Leaders allowing for better decisions and organizational effectiveness. Involved in solving complex HR-related issues. Work independently with minimal guidance. May act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide guidance to management and employees on human resources issues, employment law, and develop new programs and initiatives to meet management needsGenerate solutions and implements with input from more senior HR teammatesAnticipate and plan for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business managementAssist in the formulation of objectives for personnel policies & procedures and manpower goalsAssure company policies are administered fairly and consistently throughout the area of responsibilityEffectively communicate and execute necessary changes to policies and proceduresPerform advanced employee relations functions including support and counseling regarding personnel and job related conflicts, problem solving and dispute resolution, managing employee performance issues, review and assessment of termination requests; conduct exit interviewsConduct complex/sensitive employee related investigationsHandle workers compensation, first report of injury database and safety regulations processCoordinate the administration of all Leave of Absence programs and processes including transitional work and accommodationsConduct open enrollment and other benefits related programs as neededConduct employee and supervisor training including benefits, policies and procedures and prevention of harassment and discriminationEnsure timely and accurate entries to the HRIS databaseEnsure timely and accurate payroll entry for designated client groupPerform audit and compliance functions as requested on items such as audit reports verification, commission reports and payroll informationMaintain employee records in compliance with state and federal requirementsAssist in the management and execution of bonus plans, merit processes, and routine/special request reportsAssist in the annual budget planning process as neededMay recruit and staff from internal and external sourcesAll other duties as requestedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward mannerAbility to communicate with all levels of management and company personnelAbility to deal with the public in a professional mannerAbility to maintain confidentiality of informationAbility to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressureDemonstrated PC skills and MS Office skillsAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties in a timely manner Ability to work independentlyKnowledge of local, state and federal employment laws and procedures
