Welder Apprentice

Description This individual will repair and fabricate equipment; specifically welding, using arc, gas, stick, or wire feed. Their work must be completed in a safe, professional and timely manner. $23 u2013 $29 / hour Compensation & Benefits: Eligible for profit sharing which is based on department profitability and individual performance Comprehensive benefits package Training and development, as well as opportunities to grow within the organization Specific Duties Include:u2022 Perform and run vertical or overhead welding.u2022 Must be knowledgeable in all types of current welding procedures and applications.u2022 Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.u2022 Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. u2022 Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. u2022 Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.u2022 Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.u2022 Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.u2022 Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
