Requisition #: 75238 The Role at a Glance We are excited to be hiring a Sr. Plan Document Consultant, Technical Lead , on our Retirement Plan Services Plan Document Team. As our business continues to grow and evolve, we are enhancing our plan document services to meet increasing demand and ensure continued excellence in retirement plan document compliance and service delivery. In this role, you will bring deep subject matter expertise and a passion for mentoring others. You will support complex projects and initiatives, offering strategic guidance and technical leadership. As a trusted advisor, the Team Lead helps shape operational excellence by identifying process improvements, supporting change initiatives, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards. You will also play a vital role in supporting management by offering coaching, feedback and training while also stepping in to handle departmental responsibilities as needed. What you'll be doing u2022 Serve as a technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor for your area, providing direction on complex projects and initiatives u2022 Provide coaching and mentoring of others, identifying development opportunities, and supporting performance growth u2022 Collaborate with management on training needs, performance input, and team development u2022 Identify and support the implementation of process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance u2022 Support complex assignments and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals u2022 Support training efforts, including new hire onboarding, refresher sessions, and procedural updates u2022 Collaborates with management on staffing decisions, performance input, and workload balancing u2022 Handles complex inquiries and providing clear and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders u2022 Maintains a small but highly specialized workload, supporting broader team operations, and stepping in to support departmental needs u2022 Stays current on industry trends, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to internal control assessments u2022 Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including pre- and post-sale consultations Youu2019ll also be expected to: u2022 Lead by example in a fast-paced, collaborative environment u2022 Make meaningful contributions through innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork u2022 Support change management and enterprise initiatives with a positive and proactive mindset What weu2019re looking for _Must-haves:_ u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent experience (4 years in lieu of degree) u2022 5+ years of experience working with qualified retirement plan documents, plan design consulting, or related compliance role u2022 Expertise in the rules and regulations governing 401(a), 401(k), 403(b), and 457(b) retirement plans u2022 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills u2022 Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and influence outcomes without direct authority u2022 Experience with document generation systems (e.g., ASC, , Relius) u2022 Experience supporting regulatory plan restatements and plan amendment cycles u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite u2022 ASPPA or related industry designations such as QKA, QKC, and TGPC required _Nice-to-haves:_ u00b7 Experience in technical support, leadership, or a track record of mentoring and coaching u00b7 Familiarity with SS&C Chorus/AWD (Automated Work Distributor) Application Deadline Applications for this position will be accepted through October 31st, 2025, subject to earlier closure due to applicant volume Whatu2019s it like to work here? Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincolnu2019s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
