Clinical Therapist/Psychotherapist Location: BrooklynDepartment: 29i Mental Health/ EFFCSchedule: Part-time 21 hoursPURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide clinical therapy services to children and adolescents in foster care settings, with a focus on supporting their emotional and behavioral health. JOB REQUIREMENTS Provide therapy services for children and adolescents in regular and therapeutic foster care.Provide family therapy services as indicated.Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:Child and adolescent development.Mental health and Emotional/behavioral health.Parent-child relationships, family dynamics; and diagnostic classification.Collaborate with other foster care colleagues, such as caseworker staff and home finding ply with all Medicaid, 29i and ACS protocolsKnowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.Candidates should also possess excellent written and verbal communication plete all required case documentation in the Electronic Case Record.QUALIFICATIONSMaster of social work degree from an accredited school of social work -limited permit or limited permit eligible.Master's degree in mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy or clinical psychology -limited permit or limited permit eligible.TRAVEL REQUIREDYes
