The Colonial Life Charity Classic is accepting applications for the 2026 Championship Internship. The Colonial Life Charity Classic is a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event on the Korn Ferry Tour, is conducted annually at The Woodcreek Club in Columbia, SC. The four-day, 72-hole competition features 156players from around the world competing for a total purse of $1,000,000. As the path to the PGA TOUR, the Korn Ferry Tour features some of the most talented professional golfers who are ready to compete ongolfu0027s biggest stage. The 2026 Colonial Life Charity Classic will be held May 13-17, 2026. The tournament is managed by Eventive Sports Properties, a nationwide sports management company based in Birmingham, ternship Overview:The Championship Interns will work alongside full-time championship staff on many aspects of the event. Primary areas of concentration will include operations and volunteers, as well as sales, and overall event execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently on multiple projects, and a willingness to go above and beyond for tournament stakeholders. Interns will be asked to take ownership of key projects and will gain strong professional experience. This is an unpaid ternship timeframe: (flexible depending on availability) January through May 2026.Hours: For the first month or two, 10-20 hours per week, then increased hours thereafter.Must be able to work extended/irregular hours including nights and weekends as event approaches and during event.
