ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR DUTIES Partners with Information Technology Supervisor in developing hardware replacement plans. Coordinates and resolves telecommunications and data needs. Monitors and maintains telecommunications equipment. Monitors and maintains mobile device security. Implements, monitors, evaluates, and maintains internet connectivity security procedures. Develops project plans and implements with application experts. Maintains, updates and administers the System/Application Inventory spreadsheet. Performs network based upgrades. Monitors system security, stability, usage and operation. Installs printers on the LAN. Resolves installation, configuration, connectivity, and application problems expeditiously to minimize loss of down time and recurrence of technical problems to the user. Installs new software applications or hardware on the LAN, coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary. Adds and maintains users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations are within standards. Manages licenses on applications to ensure compliance. Monitors load balance on servers and makes recommendations accordingly. Reviews changes in new and existing procedures to ensure that instructions and equipment assignments are correct. Regularly monitors the operation of data processing systems, audits logs, and ensures that data communication capabilities are maintained during business hours and available capacity is utilized optimally. Performs daily management and maintenance of servers and associated operating systems including data backups, patch management, etc. Is the primary internal source of assistance and guidance to the Marketing department in relation to the banks website. Is the primary source of assistance and guidance to the I.T. technicians MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Job Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency with Microsoft O365 Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP Proficiency with VMWare and virtual environments Knowledge of PC and Server operating systems. Understanding of networked environments (WAN/LAN) Understanding of networking vulnerabilities. Strong knowledge of the setup and configuration of desktop PCs servers and networking devices. Strong knowledge of the setup and configuration of remote network access. Strong customer service skills, including timely response to customers inquiries and or complaints. Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum three years of experience in Network Administration. Associates degree in a related field of study normally required. Bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferred.
