Responsibilities + Lead the planning, design, and execution of workplace and interior projects. + Manage multidisciplinary teams and engineering consultants. + Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. + Utilize Revit to support design development and documentation. + Identify and resolve project challenges proactively. + Contribute to business development efforts and help grow the firm's workplace portfolio. + Represent the firm in client meetings and industry events. Essential Skills + 7+ years of experience in workplace design. + Proficient in Revit. + Experience in interior design, interior architecture, schematic design, and design development. + Project management experience on complex projects with engineering consultants. + Skilled in commercial building design, construction documentation, and space planning. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture. + NCIDQ certification preferred. + Knowledge of ADA codes. Work Environment The role requires working four days in the office. The office is part of an international firm with a presence across North America and other continents. The DC office houses approximately 110 employees, focusing on market sectors such as K-12, senior living, large-scale corporate commercial, multi-family, and institutional projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
