If you want to grow and do meaningful work, you'll feel at home here.We're hiring: Electrical Engineer III at InterstatesLead complex, constructable electrical designs from concept through startup and commissioning while partnering closely with clients and field teams to deliver successful outcomes.What you'll do: Own end-to-end project design and delivery Identify risks early and engineer proactive solutions Coordinate multi-discipline work, set priorities, and delegate effectively Drive communication across design teams, field, clients, vendors, utilities, and governing agencies to ensure alignment and clarity. Plan and execute site visits; troubleshoot alongside field personnel Conduct peer reviews and approve drawings (PE stamping if applicable) Mentor teammates and champion standards improvements across teamsWhat you bring: Strong electrical experience and proven project delivery Ability to lead multi-discipline efforts and facilitate effective meetings Clear, proactive communication and client-facing confidence Hands-on exposure to panel shop, prefabrication, or field work Project engineering certification (EIT/PE) is a plusEducation, licensing, and experience: B.S. in engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year program 4-8 years of relevant, progressively responsible engineering experience (or equivalent education/experience) Professional Engineer (PE) license, or eligibility to become licensed/registered in at least one governing authority Knowledge of electrical terms, components, symbols, and the NEC. Preferred: proficiency with drafting software for design and execution. Ideal: proven success managing complex projects, collaborating across teams, and applying engineering principles to deliver practical solutions.Travel: Travel required up to 30% based on business needsCompensation: The pay range for this position is $76,800 to $105,600+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
