We are looking for someone with the ability and passion to provide technical and field oversite on complex projects, be directly involved with Client communication, and develop their project management skills.Our Redmond office has grown significantly over the past two years and offers a dynamic, challenging, and flexible work environment. Kleinfelder strongly advocates a culture of collaboration and professional development, empowering our employees to grow their careers according to their interests and abilities.On the job you would be expected to:Coordinate with multidiscipline team to prepare proposals and execute projectsSafely coordinate and execute field exploration programs, construction observation, and associated documentationComplete engineering analysis including: soil and rock classification; shallow and deep foundation capacity, immediate and consolidation settlement; slope stability analysis, seismic hazard evaluation (including liquefaction and lateral spreading), and earth retention systemsPartner with internal and external multidisciplinary teams during project developmentPrepare Geotechnical Engineering reportsPrepare construction specifications and drawingsBe actively involved during the construction phase of projectsPositively interact with client representativesDevelopment of scope of work, project budgets, work breakdown structures, and schedulesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in civil / geotechnical engineering - Master's preferredProfessional Engineering license in Washington6+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering consulting on infrastructure projectsPositive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasksAbility to work independently and with a team in a multi-disciplinary environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsWorking knowledge of standard business software including MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Power PointExperience with geotechnical software packages including L-Pile, DeepSoil, SHAFT, gINT, GRL WEAP, GEO STUDIO, Slide, etc.Clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug test requiredMove Forward with KleinfelderKleinfelder has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Washington Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
